Qi Gong
Millions of people around the world practice the
ancient Chinese healing art of qi gong (pronounced "Schee
kung") to decrease stress and improve health and vitality.
These gentle exercises combine visualization, breathing and
body movements to promote relaxation and re-energize the body.
The exercises are especially effective for balance, focus and
coordination.
Pilates
Pilates techniques emphasize centering the body and focusing
attention on developing the strength of the abdominal and torso
muscles.
Tai Chi
This ancient blend of mental concentration and gentle
physical movements will increase flexibility, mobility and
balance. Participation in this mind-body exercise will
effectively relax the body and calm and clear the
mind.

Do-Able Yoga
This class practices gently yoga techniques,
suitable for all ages and fitness levels, combined with guided
relaxation to relieve the stress and tension of daily
life.
Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga, the Yoga of Awareness, consists of
simple yogic techniques that can be enjoyed by everyone, no
matter his/her age or physical ability. Kundalini Yoga is an
ancient "Stechnology" and a complete science that
combines breath work (pranayam), movement, sound and chanting
(mantra), body postures (asanas), hand positions (mudras),
relaxation and meditations that add clarity, vitality and focus
to your life. It is a transformational experience that affects
all that you are and do. Recommend loose clothing, light
blanket and a head covering.

Active Older Adult Strength
Training
Learn safe and effective resistance training
techniques to help build strong muscles and bones. Gain balance
and confidence.
Fitness Center Orientations
Learn how to use the equipment in the Fitness Center in
this 45-60 minute initial visit.

Group Exercise
|
Low Impact Aerobics
This is an aerobics class that utilizes low impact
techniques for reduced joint stress. Classes include muscle
conditioning and flexibility components for a total body
workout.
Hi/Lo Aerobics
A high intensity class that utilizes hi and lo impact
techniques to develop cardiovascular fitness. Classes also
include muscle conditioning and flexibility components for a
total body workout.
Kickboxing
A high intensity interval workout utilizing
well-defined movements that include kicks and punches. Class
concludes with muscle conditioning and flexibility. Hand wraps
are required for class and can be purchased at the member
service desk.
Core Muscle
Training
This class focuses on torso strength and body
alignment through exercises that target abdominal and low back
muscles. Class concludes with flexibility exercises.

Body Conditioning
Through non-aerobic exercise, participants work
toward developing muscle fitness. Participants will work
opposing muscle groups, abs and back, and conclude with
flexibility.
YMCA Walk Reebok
A YMCA Walk Reebok instructor will take the group on a
variety of walks in the gym or neighborhood. You will learn the
health, fitness and power walk techniques.
Tai Chi
Ancient blend of mental concentration and gentle
physical movements. You will increase flexibility, mobility and
balance.
Intro to Step
Aerobics
In this introductory class you will learn the Step
Reebok terminology and basic movement of Step Aerobics.
Registration is required for all participants.

Advanced Step
This class has more challenging choreography and arm
movements. Prior step experience required. This is an advanced
fitness level class.
Step Aerobics
Emphasis is on basic step movements. No previous Step
Aerobic experience is necessary. Even though this
class is at a beginner and intermediate level, advanced
students can still get a workout.
Step Combo
This class combines the best of Step Aerobics with the best of
Hi/Lo Aerobics. The class finishes with muscle conditioning and
flexibility.
